Butterfly Release
This is a Family Event

This annual event is held each summer on the third Sunday in August at 1:00 pm. We meet and share a potluck picnic lunch on the grounds. We ask each family to bring one meat or vegetarian dish and one side dish to share.
At 2:00 pm we release the butterflies in honor of our precious children.

Walk to Remember
This is a Family Event

This annual event, for those who have had a pregnancy or infant loss, is held each fall on the first Sunday in October at 1:00 pm. We meet on the south side of the mausoleum.
At 1:00 we walk from that location to 'Babyland' where we hold a remembrance program.

Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony
This is a Family Event

Lincoln's Remembrance for the Worldwide Candlelighting Service

 

 

 

 

For those who have lost a child, the Sixth Annual Lincoln Area Candle Lighting - A Time of Remembrance, will be held Sunday December 13, 2009 at 6:45 PM at BryanLGH College of Health Sciences, 51st and Everett Streets, Lincoln, NE. (See Map) This event is being held in conjunction with the Compassionate Friends World Wide Candle Lighting. Loved ones are invited to join others in lighting candles to remember children whose deaths have left a shadow over the lives of those left behind.
